Chambersburg Country Club is a private, member owned private club. Chambersburg is one of the Central Pennsylvania's oldest Country Clubs with the Club's founding in 1921. The Club is located 4 miles from downtown Chambersburg, PA and boarders the small town of Scotland, PA. The Club is located on what historically was farm land and apple orchards that sprawls over 160 acres. Features of the Club's terrain include rolling hills, pounds, mountain views and numberous stately trees. The Conococheague Creek, a tributary to the Potomac River, runs through the course's "lower holes". The golf course is regionally known as one of the most challenging layouts in the area. The course has played host to numerous USGA U.S. Open qualifiers in addition to other state and local competitions. The design team of Ault Clark and Associates are given much of the credit for the current layout of the course. However, the layout has seen many changes and design modifications over the 90 year history (see History page).
Chambersburg CC is known for having one of Franklin County's best venues for banquets, weddings and events. The Ballroom is extremely flexible and able to accomodate events of all shapes and sizes throughout the year. Three sections allow for sizing from a cozy group of 40 for a business meeting or expanded to host a grand party of over 200. The Clubhouse features multiple dining options. The Pub includes a full bar and an intimate fireplace. The dining room has a wonderful view of our tenth fairway. Outdoor seating on our wrap around Veranda is the most popular place to be during the summer time months. Chambersburg CC well known for having one of the only Har-Tru Tennis Courts in the area. The Club features four courts that feature for lightly for night time action. Located near the courts is the historic Tennis House. The Tennis House construction dates just post to Civl War time and is home to our tennis proshop. The swimming facility are truly "family friendly". Located a "8 iron" away from the Clubhouse sits to pool complete with their separate bathhouse and dining outlet. The Club also features a "kiddie" pool and sandbox for the whole family's enjoyment. Other outlets for summer time fun located near the pool include a full court basketball facility and frisbee golf course.
